It was evident to me that Tinubu would encounter severe challenges during his presidency because God is displeased with him. The tragic loss of many young lives full of promise during the 2015, 2019, and 2023 elections, as well as in the EndSARS tragedy at Lekki tollgate, cries out for justice. Their deaths seemed to be met with indifference, as if their suffering went unnoticed. But from their graves, they cry out for justice, and now God, in His infinite fairness, is avenging their loss.

God, the Almighty, must be revered for His supreme power and unwavering justice. His judgment is impartial, and no one can escape it.

President Tinubu, you are now confronting the consequences of your actions from 2015, 2019, and 2023, when you facilitated Buhari’s rise to power and later secured your own position, regardless of the cost. You claimed it was your “turn” and ensured you seized it, even though deep down you knew the victory was hollow.

Now, as president, you are burdened with neither peace nor clear direction. Buhari and El-Rufai, once your allies, are conspicuously absent when their support is most needed. In just one year, Nigerians have reduced you and your administration to a shadow of what you envisioned. The widespread discontent and disillusionment among the people are palpable. Consider the state of Nigeria if this trajectory continues unaltered.

I may be one of the few bold enough to deliver this painful truth, but it must be said that only the truth can set us free. You must seek forgiveness from God and apologize to Nigerians for your role in elevating Buhari to power and for allowing him to remain for eight years—a period during which he, along with Emefiele, ravaged the economy beyond repair.

God, in His wisdom, has allowed you to inherit this damaged legacy as a way to confront the consequences of your actions. It is time to repent and make amends, for the burden of leadership is heavy, and only through humility and contrition can you hope to find redemption.

History and scripture offer numerous examples of leaders whose malevolent actions led to their downfall and God’s vengeance.

Consider King Saul, the first king of Israel. Chosen by God, Saul’s pride and disobedience led him to consult a witch at Endor, violating God’s command. His reign ended in tragedy on the battlefield, rejected by God and abandoned by those he once led.

King Herod the Great is another example. His paranoia and cruelty led him to order the massacre of innocent children in Bethlehem to kill the infant Jesus. Herod’s reign, marked by fear and brutality, ended miserably, with his death described by some historical accounts as being consumed by a painful disease—a fitting end for a man who defied God’s plan.

In modern history, Adolf Hitler’s demonic leadership caused immense suffering. Hitler’s quest for power led to the genocide of millions and the devastation of Europe. He died in a bunker, a broken man, realizing too late that his pursuit of power had led him and his nation to ruin.

These leaders, like you, believed they could control their fate and the fate of others, ignoring the moral and spiritual consequences of their actions. History and scripture reveal that God’s justice is inevitable. Those who lead with cruelty and disregard for human life will ultimately face His wrath.

Stop digging, for the deeper you go, the more catastrophic the end will be. It is not too late to seek forgiveness and change your course. As a child of God, seeing the ruins and traumas Nigerians are going through, I must speak this fearlessly. I do this not for personal gain, as I seek nothing from your government, but as a witness to the kind of horror you have brought to our people. Even though God has greater plans for me, I cannot pretend I do not see and feel the pains of millions of fellow men and women in Nigeria.

God’s judgment is unwavering. He who laughs on the first day will eventually cry on the last.
